Front of House 2IC- Full time position.

Carrick Winery is seeking a Front of House superstar to assist with the daily operations of our Restaurant and Garden. Join our growing team F&B team delivering exceptional experiences at our stunning Bannockburn location. Carrick is experiencing an exciting growth stage and we’re looking for the right people to join us on the journey!

Our ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be passionate about people, food and wine. They will be reliable, interested in a long-term position and be able to work in a team focused environment.

The role will support our Restaurant Manager with bookings, staff management, daily service and operations. The role includes weekend work and mostly day-time hours.

Applicants will ideally have:

  • At least one year’s experience waiting front of house
  • Good wine knowledge
  • Excellent personal presentation, and a willingness to keep learning
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Barista experience
  • A current LCQ or Managers Certificate would be beneficial but not essential
  • NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
