Seeking a Duty Manager - Canterbury Brewers Collective
Duty Manager Certificate Required.
Starting with 24+ hrs 4 days a week in February.
We have staff leaving in the coming months so we will be able to offer full time 35+ hrs 5 days a week in April.
Canterbury Brewers Collective is a boutique craft beer bar, specializing in Canterbury made beers and wines (with lashings of Kombucha and fizzy). Located in the uber chic surroundings of the Riverside Market, no two days are the same. Serving a fiercely loyal clientele of regulars and irregulars, our customers seek us out to find the latest and greatest from the local beer scene.
The bar is a 7 days a week operation, we need someone who will be able to work 35+hrs 5 days a week.
Starting pay is living wage plus and full training is provided.
About you:
- You will currently hold a Duty Manager Certificate (please do not apply if you do not hold one).
- Experienced hospitality professional.
- Experience within the local or New Zealand Beer scene and/ or a passion for craft beer.
- A friendly, personable nature, always ready for a yarn (our customers love to chat).
- Physically fit, able to lift heavy items from time to time.
- Experience working with beer lines.
- Experience with daily cash up and reporting.
- Experience with stock management and ordering.
