We are currently recruiting 1x Casual Duty Managers for our Lion staff bar based at our Brewery in East Tamaki.
In our venues, beer is the hero and we welcome people in to enjoy that experience. Our Duty Managers are proactive, effective communicators with a passion for food and beverages.
You will be responsible for:
- Food preparation
- Ensuring that the bar is fully stocked
- Managing appropriate spend at the bar
- Changing the kegs
- Cleaning the beer lines
- Ensuring all staff and visitors at the bar are well looked after
- Upholding the right conduct within the bar.
- Managing events for the bar
- Maintaining the bar bookings diary
- Creating an atmosphere that is conducive with responsible drinking
- Managing a safe environment in the bar, and escalating any safety concerns
- Maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of the bar
A few key things we require from you include at least 1 year's hospitality management experience at a similar level and holding a duty manager license. We also need you to be flexible to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings and weekends. This role will suit an individual who can bring with them creativity, flair and flexibility. Passion for beer, wine & food with knowledge of current and future hospitality trends will enable you to contribute to our growth.
