Elevate your hospitality career amidst the breathtaking landscapes of Franz Josef! Monsoon Bar & Restaurant, a vibrant fusion of rustic charm and rainforest allure, is seeking a dynamic Duty Manager to join our team. As a Duty Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our establishment, fostering a welcoming atmosphere for both guests and staff alike. 

Monsoon has beautiful gastro style pub food and an expansive drinks selection. We also regularly host large groups, parties and functions. 

The bar is a 7 days a week operation, we need someone who will be able to work 35+hrs 5-6 days a week.

About you:

- You will currently hold a Duty Manager Certificate (please do not apply if you do not hold one).
- Experienced hospitality professional.
- Experience within the local or New Zealand hospitality scene and/ or a passion for bar tending
- A friendly, personable nature, always ready for a yarn (our customers love to chat).
- Experience with daily cash up and reporting.
