Join our exciting venture as we establish Ayrburn, a multi-venue hospitality destination located in the heart of the growing Arrowtown and Lake Hayes basin. Heritage farm buildings have been reimagined into restaurants, bars, providores, and activities. Works are well underway on this foodie paradise, that will be opening soon. 
  
We are committed to creating an exceptional guest experience and are dedicated to offering outstanding service.  As we prepare for our opening, we need experienced Bar Managers to work within our beverage team and be part of setting menus and establishing a fun and high-performing team to deliver our vision in our multi venue operation.

Our key requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role is a must as we are looking for someone with a passion for cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits.
  • Bubbly personality and the ability to build a following of regulars that enjoy your fun chat and expert knowledge.
  • Bring your creativity and develop new cocktails for our menu.
  • Have the in-depth mixology knowledge to be able to take requests and prepare cocktails off menu.
  • The ability to multi-task and be a great all-rounder, identifying what needs to be done to ensure seamless delivery.
  • Have the ability to naturally convey the total experience of Ayrburn and encourage our visitors to stay awhile.
  • Duty Managers licence or ability to get one is preferred.

With career progression guaranteed, this role will take a high level of commitment and drive, especially as we go live and make the business a success. Pre-opening experience and a strong understanding of working under pressure will be a definite advantage.

As a 7 day a week precinct, you will need to be available to work nights and weekends and be available to work across all areas, including hosting at events and offering your expertise wherever it is needed.
