Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Bartender/Bar Manager to join our team at The Grove. Bar Manager, you will be responsible for crafting exceptional cocktails, providing outstanding customer service, and overseeing the overall operations of the bar.

Responsibilities:

Mixology and Wine service: Showcase your expertise by curating diverse and innovative drink menus, with an extensive knowledge of wine (especially French wines) selection and service as a cornerstone of the bar's offerings.

Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and ensuring a positive and enjoyable experience for every guest.

Inventory Control: Manage bar inventory, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste to ensure cost-effectiveness.

Compliance: Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations, liquor laws, and company policies to maintain a safe and legally compliant environment.

Qualifications:

  1. Proven experience as a Bar Manager or Sommelier in a high-volume establishment.
  2. Extensive knowledge of mixology, drink recipes, and French wine. 
  3. Strong leadership and team management skills.
  4. Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
  5. Familiarity with POS systems and inventory management software.
  6. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
