We are now seeking a highly skilled individual in the newly created position of Beverages Sales Manager.  This position will be based in Freemans Bay, Auckland reporting our Business Development Manager – Beverages and New Channels.

In this role you will lead the Beverages sales team to deliver growth for the New Zealand business through;

• Further development and execution of the Beverages sales strategy
• Growing the Beverages portfolio and customer base across grocery, RECA and premium convenience customers.
• Identification and execution of new sales opportunities within the Beverages category.

Duties & responsibilities

• Work with Business Development Manager to develop the sales strategy for Beverages to achieve our growth aspirations.
• Responsible for delivering sales performance targets, including development and implementation of initiatives to achieve targets.
• Effectively manage head office relationships across, grocery, RECA and premium convenience.
• Manage and lead a team of 6, including a Structured Account Business Development Manager, 4 Territory Sales and Business Development Executives, and a Sales Operations Executive/Marketing Support
• In conjunction with the Structured Account Business Development Manager, create and develop key relationships & business with National Chains and Distributors 

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Proven senior Sales leadership experience with an developed understanding of customer, consumer and channel segment insights
• Experience leading sales teams
• Detailed understanding of commercial business drivers
• Strong influencing and negotiating skills
• Proven experience in developing and execution of business development strategies within a market or channel.
• High levels of creativity and innovation with ability to bring insights and new ideas to the table
