We have an exciting and unique opportunity for a Cellar Door Duty Manager, to join the Church Road Visitor Centre team for a fixed term period, ending 30 June 2017.
The role is focused on truly delivering the overall vision of Church Road, whilst delivering on service expectations and financial objectives for the business.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Cellar Door Assistant Manager to ensure key brand messages are clear and communicated with confidence to all visitors through the tour and tasting experience by the Visitor Centre Hosts, ensuring that they receive the full and captivating wine experience.
Additional responsibilities include working with the Functions Coordinator to support key functions as well as the Wine Club Coordinator to boost membership uptake.
Other tasks include budgetary responsibility, reporting, developing and maintaining internal and external relationships, building and sharing brand knowledge and awareness, and providing leadership and oversight for the running of the Cellar Door which includes working on the floor.
We’re looking for a self-motivator, who is committed to the team and the brand. Excellent communication and influencing skills are a must, as is initiative and the ability to identify opportunities. The successful candidate will be committed to delivering the highest standards of service, and most importantly will have a genuine passion for the Church Road and what we do.
A relevant tertiary qualification, tourism industry experience, retail management experience, or related experience within the Wine Hospitality industry are all advantageous.
How To Apply
This role will be fixed term until 30 June 2017, on a part-time basis (32 hours per week) based in Hawke’s Bay. The Visitor Centre is a seven day operation, and for that reason, there is a requirement to be flexible to work weekends and public holidays.
