Pernod Ricard Winemakers is part of the Global Pernod Ricard Group – the World’s Co-leader in the Wine and Spirits Industry with an unrivalled collection of brands, including Absolut® Vodka, Chivas Regal®, Jameson®, Jacob's Creek®, Brancott Estate®, and more.
Globally, Pernod Ricard employs approximately 18,000 people through over 80 countries. With organic growth and external acquisitions forming part of the strategic plan, we maintain a balanced approach towards our future.
Our success is the result of the passion and commitment of our people, our exceptional portfolio of leading premium brands, and a common bond: a commitment to our values of mutual trust, entrepreneurial spirit, strong sense of ethics and conviviality as our way of being.
We have an opportunity for a talented, hard-working Cellarhand, at our Production & Distribution Centre, based in Glen Innes, Auckland. You will play an integral part in the wine production process; assisting with the preparation and blending of wines for bottling, and ensuring wine movements are completed accurately, on time and within quality cellar practices.
Due to the technical nature of some of the processing operations, you will need to be comfortable working with automated equipment and have well-developed problem-solving skills. The role is a physically active one, so a good level of fitness is important. An interest in science or a mechanical aptitude would be highly regarded, as would be an interest in wine and the ability to thrive in a continuous improvement environment.
Previous winery experience would be advantageous.
The role involves working to a rotating shift pattern (Monday to Friday, dayshift - 0630 - 1500 and afternoon shift1425 - 2315).
