PRODUCTION MANAGER (Wine Jobs: Management & Administration)

WineWorks is the leading contract wine-bottling operation in New Zealand with three plants based in Auckland, Hawkes Bay and Marlborough. Kiwi-owned, we pride ourselves on being “Trusted to bottle New Zealand for the World" by supplying manufacturing and logistics services to our valued clients. 

Opened just last year, our WineWorks Auckland plant has gone through a period of huge growth, and is now the fastest wine-bottling operation in New Zealand, representing an investment in world-class technology, machinery and of course our people. We currently have a role for a Production Manager to manage our busy Production team based in our Auckland facility, ensuring optimum efficiency of the three bottling lines.   Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Production Manager will manage a team of six Production Team Leaders, with responsibility for ensuring the effective running of the plant, maximising production output. 

To succeed in this role, you will have proven leadership skills honed in a fast-paced manufacturing/ bottling/ packaging environment. Knowledge of the wine industry and experience in Lean manufacturing would be an advantage, but our ideal candidate will have at least 5 years’ production experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in food or beverage bottling/ filling/ packaging or short run manufacturing.
