RND Operator (Wine Jobs: Management & Administration)

About the role
Based in Papakura, you will play a key role in the support of New Product Development and commercialization, the manufacture of liquid samples, sensory testing and the evaluation of NPD, ingredients and materials. A varied and demanding role, you will also be provided with the opportunity to utilize your knowledge of beverage formulations to create, optimize and make ‘better for you’ products, bringing concepts capable of successful commercialization to life.

Key Responsibilities

• Support new product development whilst providing input into existing formulation improvements
• Documentation and support for food safety standard (FSANZ) wine standard (WSMP) and quality standard (BRC) to NPD and NPD processes
• Ensure Recipe development (NPD) delivery of set project activity/milestone results are met
• New Product analysis and full product specification setting
• Provide sample and tasting support to sales, marketing, operation and production departments

About You

• Background in FMCG/Carbonated soft drinks or Dairy Product Development (beverage experience is preferred)
• Science degree or equivalent required (preferably in food technology)
• Experience in HACCP, FSANZ and Quality Systems
• Strategic thinker, agile with exceptional attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and a proven ability to communicate at all levels
