I am starting up a brands company, called New Zealand Wine and Spirit Merchants, with our National Distribution and Sales office based in Auckland. We require a senior sales professional used to working in the busy FMCG industry selling Wine and Beer and Cider to Supermarkets, along with selling Spirits and Liqueurs to both Retail Liquor stores and Restaurants. We will be selling to all liquor operators throughout New Zealand.
This position will be based in Wellington, covering all areas up to New Plymouth. The prime role will be developing and implementing our business plan for the Central Region, along with seeking out new business opportunities and complementing to the success of some of the brands that we already have in the market.
The successful applicant will have;
• Proven sales skills in the liquor industry
• Minimum of 5 years selling to FMCG
• Exceptional skills in planning and prioritising
• Well-developed relationship management skills
• A self-motivated and self-managing personality
• Excellent communication skills
• A strong ability to sense new business sales opportunities and see them through to completion
Some overnight travel may be required, to cover the area on a monthly basis. A competitive salary package including Bonus opportunity, a company vehicle, iPad and phone will be provided.
