Description
We are looking for a warehouse attendant that can assist with the smooth operations of the warehouse, ensuring orders are picked, despatched and housed.
What sort of things will you be doing?
- Ensure timely supply of product for despatch
- Reconcile stock movements using E1 system
- Imports processing including unloading containers
- Line running
- Ensure Mainfreight trucks are loaded and ready to despatch in a timely manner.
- Complete container checks as required.
- Ensure Viticulture specific communications reach the right audience, are customer focused and clearly understood.
- Undertake ad-hoc projects as required including working with other personnel on national projects and provide support and alignment from an administration perspective.
- Management of staff purchases and order distribution.
- Coordinate staff gifts: Christmas / pruning t-shirts and printing, Harvest vests with logos, staff flowers.
Skills and experience required for this role include:
- Good understanding of H&S regulations, safe working practices, including fork lift licence OSH certificate
- Good command of weights, measures, comprehension and basic computer skills.
- Being a team player that is able to learn quickly.
- Team player.
- A level of fitness adequate to cope with the physical nature of the position.

This position suits someone who is reliable, adaptable and enthusiastic. Hours of work will be 3pm to 11:30pm, Monday to Friday and flexibility in the hours of work to meet the demands of increasing sales are essential.
