We’re looking for a Cellar Door Supervisor to embody the values of our brand and lead our Cellar Door team in creating sophisticated and memorable experiences for our visitors. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to contribute your wine knowledge, passion for making memorable customer experiences and team influencing skills to further establish our consistently growing brand as a top-standard in the market.
Our Cellar Door is open seven days, so successful applicants will need to be available to work flexible hours including weekends and public holidays.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
· Maintaining a high standard of best-practice, sophisticated and memorable service to our visitors.
· Coordination of tour group hosting & facilitation of wine tastings and wine education
· Influencing & training staff to meet service and sales standards in line with objectives and develop a positive working culture
· Full operational administration of the Cellar Door, including presentation, staff rosters, team meetings, responding to inquiries & complaints, cash management, and ambience
· Contributing to the constant development of the Cellar Door & staff to differentiate us from our competitors
In order to succeed in this position, you will have:
· Significant experience in Cellar Door operations & overseeing staff
· Proven experience in maximizing sales and providing exceptional guest engagement
· High-energy people leadership & influencing skill, leading by example to establish a high standard
· Knowledge of best practice wine service & delivery of wine education
· Strong ability to pragmatically organize priorities and make critical decisions
· A current Duty Manager Certificate is desired
· European or Asian language is an advantage
