Astrolabe is a successful family owned and operated wine company, highly regarded for producing top quality wines from a variety of unique Marlborough sites. The newly created role of Accounts Administrator is a 20 hour per week role designed to assist and support the Chief Financial Officer.
The key purpose of the role is to take responsibility for the general ledger of Astrolabe Wines and ensure the efficient and effective processing of accounting and administrative tasks. You are responsible for daily reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable and the preparation and processing of IRD returns. Additional adhoc administrative and reporting tasks will be required.
To be successful in this role you'll have a minimum of three years' experience working with general ledgers and accounts payable functions. Experience in the Wine industry is ideal but not essential.
Familiarity with accounting software is crucial with MYOB experience preferable. Your passion and commitment to the goals of the business and the team are a key success factor.
