Saint Clair Family Estate is proud to be a family owned winery located in the heart of Marlborough. Our quality wines are internationally recognised and it's a real team effort to help produce and distribute these wines throughout the world.
We require an experienced, full-time Accounts Payable Administrator to work from our office at the winery in the Riverlands Estate, Marlborough. Wine industry experience is not essential, however the successful candidate must be organised, accurate and efficient with record keeping and documentation.
The key function of the Accounts Payable Administrator is to manage the authorisation, entry, coding, paying and filing of our purchase invoices.
Responsibilities that will be a part of this role include:
- Receiving invoices by mail and email, and forwarding these on to the appropriate personnel for authorisation
- Entering invoices into our accounting software and coding them to the appropriate general ledger accounts.
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Setting up payments by direct credit or cheque as required
- Bank reconciliations; as well as other work papers, reconciliations and reports as required from time to time
The main accounting software program we use is Xero so experience with this would be preferred.
