Hill Laboratories, New Zealand's leading analytical laboratory, has an opportunity for the right person to advance their career in client services management to deliver analytical services in our Wine and Microbiological Laboratory in Blenheim.
The focus of this position is to support the Market Sector Manager in identifying and securing new customers and managing existing key account business in the wine and food industries within the Marlborough and the greater South Island region. Effectively managing defined key account clients list, developing relationships and driving sale profitability are core requirements of this position.
This role will be part of our commercial team and report to the Market Sector Manager based in Hamilton.
The key responsibilities of this role are:
- Be an active member of the Client Services Team, supporting key account initiatives in addition to helping drive strategies and tactics for growth in our Wine and Microbiological business
- Continually provide sound, accurate technical advice to agriculture clients in order to foster increased sales
- To provide a smooth interface between operations and our clients
- To understand how we can assist our clients to add value to their business
- To build trust in business relationships with our clients
- To promote and represent Hill Laboratories in a professional manner at all times

A key focus will be achieving optimum performance against KPI's.
Ideally you will have a technical background with a good understanding of a processing environment.
The ideal candidate will have a Graduate or Post-Graduate degree in Microbiology, Food Science or related degree. Experience in a quality assurance role within food industry is desirable. Past experience within technical service or within a customer facing role is advantageous.
