Office Admin & Hospitality Marketing (Wine Jobs: Sales & Marketing)

Are you a natural multi-tasker, super organised, methodical, thorough, energetic, accurate and service driven with a can do and willing attitude? Then look at this varied role where the associated duties and responsibilities include:

  • Handling of all general administrative tasks
  • Responsible for all communications (emails, calls, visits, online booking systems etc.)
  • Managing reservation and visits
  • Handling customer enquires
  • Conduct tastings and hosts visitors
  • Drives all marketing activities and promotions to achieve a high occupancy rate for our iconic restaurant, casual bistro and cottage accommodation
  • Written communication includes menus, ads, press releases
  • Managing direct marketing activities (social Media, website, database, email, newsletters)
  • Works closely with the hospitality team, compiles staff roster, weekly planning, helps recruiting staff etc.
  • Manages events and special functions
  • Maintains relationship with guests, greets VIPs and regulars
  • Maintains equipment, incl. computers, networks, telephone and stationery supplies

To be successful in this role you will need strong attention to detail and accuracy, be supper efficient and self-motivated with a can do, flexible, willing and adaptable attitude. Other skills, experience and traits needed for this role include:

  • A passion for wine & food and the interest to continuously educate yourself in this field
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office products including (Access, Publisher, Excel etc.), Dropbox, ICloud, Internet tools, Website management, Social media, Mail chimp
  • Strong time management skills - savvy with Microsoft outlook and its calendar programs
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Capable of multi-tasking with a structured approach to work and planning
  • Organizational talents
  • Ability to prioritise and juggle tasks
  • Written Expression - Excellent writing skills
  • Technical Oversight
  • Problem-Solving Skills
