We have various roles based at Wither Hills in Marlborough, reporting to our Winemaking Team, these roles are integral to the Wither Hills team and are responsible for a range of winery activities. 

• SHIFT SUPERIVISOR

  Must be able to read & participate in all aspects of the daily operations in the winery.  Ensure all wines are within specifications at all times, make sure instructions from the Winemakers are implemented in a timely manner.  Previous experience being responsible for / training & supervising vintage staff also required. 

• SENIOR CELLAR HANDS / CELLAR HANDS

  Previous winery experience and industry qualification would be an advantage but there will be full in-house training for successful applicants without experience. 

• LAB TECNICIANS

  The position will involve conduction routine analysis on juice & wine samples as well as data entry.  A qualification in science or winemaking discipline would be desirable, industry experience is preferred. 

• FORKLIFT DRIVERS

  Must have previous Forklift experience, with a Current OSH license, ‘F’ endorsement and experience driving heavy machinery would be an advantage, 

  Depending on the season, work will commence mid-March 2017 and finish around the end of April 2017.  During the peak of harvest, team members will work 12 hour shifts, six days a week.  On those days, we like to take a bit of the hassle out of your day to day life by providing a scrumptious meal. 

  You will need to be a quick learner able to work independently as well as in a team environment. Have good communication skills, be motivated and have a great sense of humour.
