Black Estate is a family owned, organic producing world class wines. It's Restaurant & Tasting Room is situated above the stunning Home Vineyard with 270degree views. Black Estate take pride in make ing real wines with organic and biodynamic practices. They source local and organic produce for the restaurant. We are looking for a bright fun person to lead our fun and solid team from from winter onwards (just in time for the truffle season!).
Job tasks and responsibilities
Duties involve:
Managing all bookings and function enquiries.
Hosting.
Being able to provide in-depth tastings.
Training staff with the winemaker to understand all of out wines and vineyards.
Training staff to understand all food and suppliers.
Working with the kitchen to ensure flow of service and
Representing the Black Estate brand to all visitors including media and trade who visit the tasting room.
Skills and experience
A real passion for wine & food and a wish to learn a lot more.
At least 3 years of FOH experience and some management experience. More is better but we are looking for the right personality and passion for wine so apply with what you have!
Be a good communicator.
Be a good team player.
Be bright and sharp and proud of everything you do.
Be reliable and wish to work Saturdays and Sundays and not take leave in Summer.
