VinPro provides custom winemaking, bottling, temperature controlled warehousing and dispatch services to our local wine growing community.
Our Cromwell based winery located in the heart of the world renowned Central Otago region focuses on quality wine production for clients across all of Central Otago sub regions. We have a modern well resourced winery with capacity for 800 tonnes. We have been crafting quality cool climate wines since 2005; we produce Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Rosé, Chardonnay, Gruner Veltliner, St Laurent and Gewürztraminer.
The Lead Cellarhand role will be hands on, suiting a skilled person with a good base of quality cellar skills and knowledge with aspirations to develop their winemaking career. The successful applicant will be hard working, quality focused and who works well as part of a team or on their own.
While reporting to the Winery Manager the role requires responsibility for training and supervising vintage staff as well as carrying out a full suite of cellar work. You will participate in winery wine, barrel and blending tastings and help with winery maintenance.
