Established in the early 1980's this Christchurch based company sources and produces high quality branded products on a truly global platform. It designs develops and wholesales to a wide range of customers in both New Zealand and Australia.
This is a broad ranging accounting and financial administration role that reports to the CFO and is part of a small accounting and administration team. This role is still quite hands on and the key responsibilities will include supervising and managing the accounts processing, control of the general ledger, including all account reconciliations, cash flow reporting, tax compliance including GST returns and the preparation of month end financial reporting.
We view this position as ideally suiting a range of candidates who will bring a combination of ideally some level of tertiary qualifications, but more importantly a broader range of practical experience gained in either the chartered accounting or the commercial sector. Working as part of a cohesive head office team you will play a central role in supporting the business and with this will come other opportunities to grow and gain experience. Strong interpersonal skills, a high level of computer literacy, good attention to detail, a proactive approach and a capacity for hard work are also important prerequisites.
