The Millton Vineyards is a family owned and operated wine estate established in 1984. Our six dry farmed vineyards are situated on the East Coast of New Zealand in the wine appellation of Gisborne. Millton was the first producer in New Zealand to gain BioGro certification for organic wine production and all vineyards are Demeter Certified Biodynamic.
We have a small and dedicated team producing a selection of specialised fine wines across five different labels.
We are seeking a Cellar Hand for vintage 2017, beginning end of February for approximately 8 weeks.
The role we offer is diverse - the applicant needs to be able to undertake the following cellar tasks.
• Lab analysis
• Racking/transfer of juice
• Press operation
• Fruit receival and handing
• Barrel work
• Cleaning
• Current drivers licence and forklift licence
• At least four years' vintage experience is essential.
• Applicants must have a New Zealand work visa and necessary tax numbers.
