We are now seeking energetic and keen individuals to fill three (3) fixed term Technical Assistant positions across our Hawkes Bay, Martinborough and Blenheim vineyards focusing on technical data collection from November through to the end of harvest (approximately mid to late April 2017).
Your duties would primarily involve collecting seasonal vineyard data (pest and disease monitoring, floret, berry and bunch counts) as well as other general vineyard work as required.
Ideally you will have previous experience or knowledge of vineyard data collection and vine husbandry as well as strong verbal and written communication skills. A NZ driver’s license is required and a Quad Bike riding course (or being able to complete one prior to the start of employment) is also required. Experience with vineyard machinery would also be beneficial.
