Administration Assistant - Fixed Term, Full Time Contract (Wine Jobs: Management & Administration)

Sileni Estates was established in 1998, since then Sileni wines have won world-wide acclaim for their food-friendly wine style. The company has vineyards in Hawke's Bay and Marlborough and is one of the largest family-owned wine producers in New Zealand, exporting wine to more than 80 different markets around the world.

We are looking for an administration assistant, based at our head office in Hawke's Bay. As an integral part of the Sileni global market support group, you will provide administration assistance to the sales and marketing team and wider management team. The right candidate will be totally hands on, willing to learn, with impeccable time management skills, attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines.  The position is full time, based at the Sileni winery, for a 12 month fixed term to cover Parental Leave.

Key responsibilities

  • Administration of wine competitions, including recording and analysis of entries and results, management of support collateral inventory and assisting with sales support materials

  • PA and administration duties for the management team

  • Coordination of media and trade visits, including some hosting

  • Event logistics and support for domestic events

  • Logistics and support for international trade fairs, including management of stand development, dispatch of collateral and samples

  • Sales support administration

Requirements

  • 2 -3 years' experience in a similar role ideal

  • Organised, with proven attention to detail

  • A can do attitude and outstanding time management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines

  • Interest in the wine industry essential, wine experience a plus

  • Strong computer skills

  • Experience providing PA or administration support

  • The ability to plan itineraries, coordinate multiple bookings and diaries, juggling logistics and maximise budget, while providing a seamless experience for visitors

  • Experience managing event logistics

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to relate well to people
