Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for assisting the Financial Controller in all aspects of the financial accounting and reporting requirements and supporting the Finance team with month end reporting and compliance processes, in particular stock and fixed assets.
To be successful in this role you will be CA qualified or equivalent and have a strong technical accounting knowledge. This would be an ideal role for a candidate looking for their first commercial accounting position after qualifying in a Chartered Accountancy firm specialising in business advisory/private client services or audit.
You will bring to the role intermediate word, excel and outlook skills and the ability to follow methodical processes to meet deadlines, whilst maintain a high level of accuracy. Preferably you will have worked with Microsoft NAV.
Our finance team is small, but works at pace and is thorough. This role will only suit someone who truly understands the concept of teamwork, and brings unrivalled levels motivation and enthusiasm to the workplace each day.
A passion and love for wine is a must. Although this position is based in an office, you will have the opportunity to participate in an employee programme that allows you to be hands on with our viticulture, winemaking and hospitality processes and practices.
