WineWorks offers wine bottling and warehousing services to New Zealand wineries. In doing this, we aim to be “Trusted to bottle New Zealand for the world”. Our Blenheim plant employs over 200 staff across 7+ departments and we are constantly on the lookout for fresh new talent to join our dynamic team. This is a unique opportunity to become an integral part of the Quality Team in a role that provides independent and objective assurance that our systems and processes comply with recognised industry standards.

Who are we looking for?
Due to an internal promotion, we are seeking interested applicants who have internal auditing experience within a manufacturing business. As a business that bottles wine for the world we need to ensure we remain compliant with world recognised standards such as BRC, WSMP and selected leading national/international brands that our clients supply to. The successful applicant will bring a systematic, disciplined approach to the role and will have previous experience in internal auditing systems as well as participating or leading third party audits.

Applicants for this role must have the following abilities, skills and experience:

• Employment history in a Quality Assurance and/or Auditing role within a food manufacturing business
• Proven ability to understand and comply with Industry Standards, ability to ensure that the Company achieves and maintains accreditations necessary to the business
• Demonstrated auditing experience, internal and external with the ability to remain professional and discreet at all times
• Ability to communicate positively with people from all levels of the business
• Exceptional organisational skills, able to work to strict timelines and meet deadlines
• Accurate eye for detail
• Ability to provide coaching and support within the organisation to ensure a high standard of compliance is achieved and maintained. Able to assist in problem solving.
• A NZ recognised HACCP or Food Safety qualification
• A NZ recognised auditing qualification is desirable.
