Spring Creek Vintners is a 12,000ft state of the art facility in Marlborough, producing wine under contract for a range of well known, quality New Zealand producers, as well as the companies own Award-winning Rapaura Springs and Summerhouse labels.
During the harvest you will have the opportunity to see a wide variety of grapes processed using a range of techniques and will work with some of Marlborough's best winemakers.
We are currently seeking a Laboratory Technician to cover for a vacancy due to maternity leave.
This position will be filled as soon as possible and will run as a fixed contract till the end of November 2018.
There is a requirement for vintage hours to be worked during this period. Vintage typically runs from the middle March through to early May and will involve shift work, whereby we run 2x12 hour shifts during the peak.
We offer highly competitive hourly rates plus a hot meal a day during shift work. We have a great stereo system so you can work and jive together; use new equipment in a well designed winery run by a dynamic team. Laboratory Technician:
- All applicants will need at least two full vintage experiences and some formal qualifications would be looked upon favourably, but not considered essential.
- Be dynamic and motivated and have a willingness to learn and work hard as part of a team, and having fun is considered paramount to the job.
