Due to the installation of a fifth bottling line, we are now accepting applications to join our Quality Team as a Production Line Quality Control Operator.

Who are we? WineWorks offers wine bottling and warehousing services to New Zealand wineries. In doing this, we aim to be “Trusted to bottle New Zealand for the world”. Our Blenheim plant employs over 200 staff across 7+ departments and we are constantly on the lookout for fresh new talent to join our dynamic team.

Who are we looking for? At WineWorks attitude is everything, we can train the rest! Our Quality Control team has two new positions available within their busy, fast paced environment. You will be responsible for ensuring that the routine production line quality inspections are conducted within the allocated timeframes and a high standard of quality is met. Our team works together to get the job done so to succeed in this role you will need to be able to make quick decisions and have confidence in your knowledge and ability to do a job right first time.

Applicants for this role must have the following abilities skills and experience:

• Have a high level of accuracy with recording numbers and completing documentation
• Have a great eye for detail and a pride in getting it ‘right first time’
• Have good time management skills, can work under pressure to meet deadlines and are able to multi-task
• Are reliable, punctual, have your own transport and are flexible in your hours of work
• Have great communication skills both verbal and written
• Are flexible with a willingness to grow and develop in the role
• Have an ability to problem solve and trouble shoot
• Are physically fit, have the ability to frequently lift 15-20 kgs and go up and down flights of stairs
• Have achieved NCEA at level 3

When do we want you? This is a permanent, full time position and would not suit working holiday visa holders. We are seeking someone who can work 8-12 hours, Monday to Friday depending on our client’s needs, so we need someone who is willing to be flexible.
