An opportunity currently exists within the Viticulture Planning Team for the role of Senior Viticulture Planning Analyst. Reporting to the Viticulture Planning Manager, and working in partnership with the Viticulture Planning Junior Analyst, this role is responsible for providing value add analysis on PRW viticulture planning and progress of regional and seasonal work programmes.
This role will assist in the planning and communication of work programs and work orders to the relevant Senior Managers, as well as providing the relevant stock goods (e.g. Agrichemical for spraying) to enable the implementation on the regional and seasonal work programs.
So what are the sorts of things you can expect from this role?
· Specification generation for all seasonal and regional tasks based on Viticulture Planning Calendar and in consultation with Vineyard Operations staff for details such as piece work rates, hectares/hour, row/km/hour etc.
· Plan creating including creation of weekly/work cycle/monthly plans
· Weekly review of generated spray plans to take into account current performance and impact of current and predicted weather conditions
· Report on work progress against the plan set for that task
· Creation and analysis of reports including performance to original plan and budget
· Ordering of goods and services relating to the up and coming work plans including Vineyard Agrichemicals, Harvest additions, Trellis repair materials, Vineyard Redevelopment materials and Vine sampling materials, Harvest dockets and labels etc.
Skills and experience required for this role include:
· 5+ years commercial administration experience
· Strong information systems/Excel skills with experience in analysis and data modelling
· Strong time management, interpersonal and presentation skills
· Attention to detail and reconciliation abilities in a complex reporting environment
· Ability to identify/communicate key issues and possible solutions
