The properties include 80 ha of fully developed vineyard land. In addition, the Vineyard/Estate Manager will manage and liaise with the Livestock Manager on management of pasture land and cattle on the Loveblock Farm property.
Reporting directly to the CEO of the Loveblock Wine Group, the Vineyard/Estate Manager will be accountable for overall performance of bot properties and the day to day vineyard operations.
A major focus will be placed on the retention of the organic status of the Loveblock Estate ensuring that appropriate standards are achieved, and all regulatory and compliance requirements are met. Viticulture support will provided by a viticultural consultant.
The successful candidate will have:
- Viticultural management experience
- Ability to meet certification standards
- Planning and timely execution of work plans to budget
- Good team building ability
- A hands on ability with machinery and equipment
- Well organised and clear thinking
- Sound interpersonal and communication skills
- Understanding of Health and Safety requirements
- Flexible working hours as required
- Sound IT skills including intermediate Microsoft Office capability
