Tractor Operator / Farm Assistant (Wine Jobs: Management & Administration)

Brickbay Wines is located in the Matakana region north of Auckland. Our focus is producing elegant estate grown wines in a sustainable way. We are seeking a tractor driver to join us. This is a varied and unique role requiring a broad set of skills.

Requirements

• Experience with tractors, implements, trailers
• A strong work ethic
• Analytical skills, creativity and logical thinking
• Be able to keep accurate daily operation records and spray diary
• Be flexible with work hours as some tasks must be done when needed!
• The ability to listen, learn and follow instructions
• The ability to supervise staff
• Be a happy and positive person with enthusiasm and motivation 

Advantage

• Vineyard experience
• Experience with chainsaws
• Experience with mowers, weed strimmers, hedge trimmers etc
• Growsafe certificate
• Strong mechanical knowledge and skills
• Experience with stock

An important part of this role will be operating the tractor with the different attachments such as sprayer, trimmer, cultivator and mower etc. Other tasks include gardening, landscaping and general farm work.
