Our exclusive villa caters for up to 8 (mainly international) guests seeking an unforgettable escape surrounded by nature's beauty. With its lush landscapes and stunning vistas, the Motueka River Valley offers a truly unique experience, and with 3 national parks nearby we provide an unparalleled opportunity for guests to explore and immerse themselves in the natural wonders that surround the Villa.

Responsibilities: As a Maître d' / Front of House team member, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our guests have a memorable and seamless experience. Your responsibilities will include:

• Warmly welcoming guests and assisting with check-ins and check-outs.
• Ensure dining areas are set and clean
• Prepare and serve beverages including cocktails, wines, coffees
• Lead the front of house team through meal service with close communication with the chef
• Collaborating with the wider team to maintain the high standards of Falcon Brae Villa.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is preferred.
• Knowledge of cocktail making, wine, coffee preferred, although training to be given to fill any knowledge gaps.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Focus on quality and doing the best job, not the easiest job.
• A passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
