About the role
We are looking to appoint a dynamic Experienced Senior Business Analyst to work within our BIS Manufacturing team, directly reporting to the Team Leader. You will utilise your significant business analyst skills and project management experience in a supportive and friendly team environment spanning Australia and New Zealand.
Your primary focus will involve project delivery, application improvements and application support of manufacturing and distribution systems. A key part of the role is the management of strategic projects working with the business and other members of the team across the Manufacturing areas.
Although the role is based in Auckland it will span additional countries so the flexibility to travel is a must.
Skills required
As a person you will have outstanding communication and interpersonal skills and enjoy engaging with different people. You should be able to work well under pressure, enjoy a challenge and be self-motivated. You are also excited by innovation and the opportunity to embrace new technologies. As the role is within the Manufacturing area a sound understanding of FMCG, manufacturing and distribution processes will be highly regarded.
You should also have suitable experience as both a Senior Business Analyst and Project Manager and to be successful in the role should possess the following skills:
- Technical support experience and understanding of the entire SDLC (proven experience a must)
- Experience with Process Analysis including mapping of AS IS and TO BE processes
- Experience in preparing detailed functional specifications and the ability to generate use cases
- Experience in business requirements gathering through conducting & facilitating workshops and one on one interviews
- Ability to stand up and present to an audience during workshops
- Experience in the development and execution of test plans
- Considerable experience in project management including resource, task and budget management for small - medium size projects
- Stakeholder and Vendor engagement skills
- Technically savvy across the MS Office Suite of products, including Visio and MS Project
