A rare opportunity to join the winemaking team at one of New Zealand’s most innovative wine companies has come up. Invivo & Co is the home of multi award-winning brands including the Graham Norton range and the outstanding Invivo X SJP Sauvignon. The winery produces Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Rosé, Pinot Gris and Shiraz and is in the town of Te Kauwhata in the northern Waikato.

We have been growing year-on-year since we started in 2008 and are now on the hunt for a cellar legend.

We are offering a full-time position to an experienced Cellar Hand that is keen to use their training and experience to contribute to our tight-knit winemaking team in the Waikato.

The successful applicant should have at least 3 years wine industry experience and a solid grounding in the year-round operations of a busy winery.

Tertiary training as a winemaker would be great, but not mandatory for the successful applicant. Having the right attitude to fit in with our company, its people and values will be the final determining factor for the successful applicant, so bring along your great hardworking attitude and lets talk. 

The applicant should be a MacGuyver-like problem solver, practical and pragmatic, have an eye for detail, a taste for good wine, punctual, nimble-minded and hardworking and all the other good things that make it easier to make lots of brilliant wine. 

Excellent verbal and written communication and a solid grounding using MS Word, Excel and Outlook would be especially useful, along with experience using winery management software. It would be very useful if you held a forklift license too.
