Marketing Manager - Fixed Term Contract (Wine Jobs: Sales & Marketing)

Be part of a small team doing big things out West across an exciting mix of activities unique to The Hunting Lodge Winery. Our 80-acre estate is located 35mins drive from the CBD in the heart of Auckland's wine country. With a Cellar Door, Cafe, event spaces and roaming gardens, as well as a fully functioning winery and bottling works, The Hunting Lodge has it all.

Where the vision is to be a globally recognised hospitality business underpinned by simple, seasonal experiences built on wine, food and beverages, you will manage all brand and marketing strategy across the various facets of the winery business to help achieve that goal (Cellar Door, Online & Trade Sales, Functions/Events and Restaurants.

  • Lead the marketing plan creation, setting overarching short and long term brand objectives to support business growth ambitions
  • Develop strategic and tactical executions to support cross functional business goal achievement (specific to Cellar Door, Online and Trade Sales, Functions/Events and Restaurants.
  • Deliver brand growth, ensuring relevant, on brand communications across all platforms (led by social channels)
  • Develop , coordinate, implement and regularly review The Wine Hunt members/club offering
  • Develop , coordinate and implement social media and other sponsorship/media targeted initiatives
  • Work collaberatively on wine and range pricing, positioning and packaging 
  • In addition, you will lead/assist in regular online and onsite promotions and events, developing creative for each occasion

Ideally, you will have 5-10 years experience and be familiar with Mailchimp, Shopify, Vend, Facebook insights and Google Analytics

For the right person, this fixed term contract (9 months) can be offered as full or part-time position.
