Territory Manager (Wine Jobs: Sales & Marketing)

Introducing a fantastic opportunity to demonstrate your sales expertise, coupled with your extensive knowledge of wines and spirits, to make an impact with our on-premise & retail customers in the Wellington region. Sales results will be your measure but passion for the product will be your motivation!

 

What we are looking for:

  • Someone with sales experience in on-premise channel (HoReCa)
  • A person who love to communicate and is great at negotiating
  • Someone with integrity and trust and is able to work autonomously
  • A person who builds rapport quickly and has huge confidence in talking on the phone
  • A proven track record in customer service or telephone sales

 

What this role involves:

  • Build strong product knowledge and customer relationships to ensure that each customer understands our service and products
  • In conjunction with the Field Sales Manager, set brand, value and volume based objectives by total territory.  Specific attention to be applied to ‘drive’ accounts.
  • Initiate cost effective promotions from concept to sign off and report on incremental sales.
  • Identify and agree call frequencies across portfolio that support cycle/brand activities.
  • Telephone sales of existing and prospective retail and on-premise clients
  • Advising on and compile premium cocktail lists. Communicate brand heritage, spirit styles and mixology criteria to drive placement endorsement and incremental growth
