Sales representative (Wine Jobs: Sales & Marketing)

We are a liquor Company who is dedicated to souring the world's best Spirits, Liqueurs and Beer to the New Zealand market. We have numerous products that are the most awarded or are the largest – selling in their particular category worldwide.

As our company is expanding we wish to increase our team of professionals who are inspired to develop new ways to meet the needs of our customers and business partners. 

We are currently looking for sales representatives to work with new and existing customers across New Zealand, especially in Wellington. 

We place a lot of emphasis on product knowledge, training and personal development. There are roles for both junior and senior applicants. 
Additionally, if you are new to the sales industry we provide on-going intensive training and support, which will include assistance in obtaining a manager's liquor license if you do not already have one. There is potential for growth and promotion.

Ideally you will have the ability to source new business, build and maintain long-term relationships and manage existing customers/territories. Moreover, you must have excellent skills in both negotiation and communication. Events and promotions will be a key feature of your role, therefore some weekend and evening work will be required.

The Ideal candidate will have…

·      A successful background in hospitality, management, sales, grocery or liquor sales.

·      Strong knowledge of spirits, liqueurs, beer and wine.

·      The ability to source new businesses, build long-term relationships and manage existing customers/territories.

·      Excellent negotiation and closing skills.

·      Full drivers license and ability to drive a manual.

·      The understanding that this is not a 9-5 Monday to Friday Job. 
Weekend events are a regular part of each month. Promotions, events and marketing are a key part of the position. E.g. The Foodshow, Home Shows and other similar events.

·      The flexibility for regular out of town travel required by the role.

Also beneficial to the role…

·      Barista or strong Café background.

·      A working knowledge of cocktails.

Sales Remuneration Package includes:
