Gibbston Tavern is a family owned and operated Kiwi style Tavern in the heart of Gibbston Wine Country. Proudly serving local craft beers and wine all matched with food that is served simply and deliciously. 

We are on the lookout for a new Chef to join our kitchen team. This is a full time position for someone who has a true passion for food, bringing a lively energy to their dishes as well as to the team culture. We’re already famous for our wood fired pizza, now is your chance to join our awesome team

What we’re looking for:

  • Someone with 1+ years experience in a kitchen 
  • A passion for food and a willingness to learn 
  • A team player who will thrive in a fast paced environment
  • Someone with excellent time management and planning skills  
  • A person who is able to juggle multiple tasks and able to get stuck into all jobs in the kitchen.
  • Weekend work essential

Requirements: 

  • Must have accommodation in Queenstown (we are unable to provide accommodation)
