Our client is a well established importer and distributor of products to the Australian wine industry and was voted the Australian Winery Supplier of the year in 2019. Their product range includes Saury & LEROI French & American Oak barrels, Premium European Glass Bottles, Yeast, ferment nutrient, malolactic starter cultures, stainless steel tanks, and much more.
This is a rewarding position, visiting and discussing wines and products to different winemakers on a daily basis. This is not a 'hard sell' role, but more laying the foundation for future orders.
Duties include:
- Providing product knowledge and service
- Seeking new business and increasing market share
- Maintaining pre-established customer relationships
- Regional travel
To be successful, you will have:
- Have technical winemaking knowledge (related technical qualification or significant experience in winemaking)
- Well developed communication, interpersonal skills and be self-driven
- Able to multi-task and juggle multiple responsibilities simultaneously
- Tech Savvy-proficient in Word and Excel
- Full clean drivers license
The ideal candidate will be self motivated, dependable, collaborative and have sound knowledge of the wine industry. This role has multiple locations available.
