Sales and Marketing Manager
What a fabulous Sales and Marketing opportunity! Family-owned Thyme Hill Vineyard is set in a picturesque 7 ha site in the renowned Alexandra basin. Taking its name from the ubiquitous wild thyme: unique to Aotearoa’s most southern wine region, this north facing vineyard specialises in growing Merlot and producing single vineyard 100 % Merlot and Merlot Rosé. This challenging & exciting role can be part-time, giving the ultimate flexible working lifestyle. However, there are opportunities for other duties within the organisation that could extend beyond this part time position.
Primarily you will be responsible for promoting and growing the sales of Thyme Hill wines within the wine trade.
Duties also include:
- Managing key relationships in market.
- Maintaining website, online shop, wine club, google business profile and social media presence.
- Growing relationships with existing Thyme Hill accounts and developing potential relationships.
- Marketing and promotional activities.
Required skills and attributes
In the first instance we are looking for someone who has proven wine sales and a passion for unique wine. As this is a new role it is an exciting opportunity that can be developed further by the right person. Additionally, we are looking for someone who:
- Has the initiative, drive, motivation and passion to help build on Thyme Hills reputation and position.
- Possesses the relationship skills to manage and build existing and new relationships / opportunities.
- Has the relevant management & marketing experience to ensure this brand continues to be a market leader.
- Extensive computer and social media skills.
- Full driver’s licence.
