Food & Beverage Supervisor (Wine Jobs: Wine Retail & Sommelier)

Situated in the downtown Britomart district, SO/Auckland is a luxury designer hotel, offering 130 rooms, a restaurant, rooftop bar, lobby bar and café, conferencing facilities as well as a spa & fitness centre.

We are currently recruiting for an F&B Supervisor. This is a hand's on role as you are assisting in the day to day running of our outlets as well as our conferencing department.

We need a passionate, creative, playful and confident leader to join our great team!

Your responsibilities would include:

• Being responsible for opening and closing of the outlet
• Ensuring smooth operations of the outlet with compliance to health & safety standards
• Attending Daily shift briefings and preparing duty logs
• Ensuring guest satisfaction is achieved and proper standards are always followed
• Leading and building a strong team with sound knowledge of the food and beverage offerings

We would prefer if you have:

• Previous experience in similar role
• Knowledge of NZ and International wines
• A passion for creating amazing experiences for others
• Proven leadership capabilities
• Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written
• Knowledge of Simphony or similar point of sale system
• Knowledge of ResDiary or similar reservation system
• A willingness to work weekends and public holidays
• A passion for 5* service where the guests are always first
• The right to live and work in New Zealand (required)
