As The National Sales Manager for Pernod Ricard NZ Grocery, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of the channel strategy to meet PRNZ and customer objectives.
Reporting into the Commercial Director you will be an engaging leader to the sales team, motivating and coaching them to exceed.
You will be an active member of the senior leadership team bringing new thinking, driving best practice and delivering commercial effectiveness.

- Develop and own the strategic plan for the grocery channel.
- Lead customer business plans development and implementation in collaboration with the Category, Revenue Growth and Customer Marketing teams.
- Achieve agreed sales revenue, margin and volume growth targets in the channel.
- Develop appropriate activity to achieve financial targets including distribution, promotion and display activity.
- Coach, develop and motivate the grocery and broader commercial team.
- Champion the grocery channel and wine portfolio within the business.

- Tertiary Qualification in Business (Commerce/ Finance)
- Leadership experience in the FMCG industry working with key grocery customers.
- Experience in managing and developing a high performing sale team.
- Strong commercial acumen and previous experience in developing 3 years sales strategies.
- Continuous improvement mindset with experience in leading change.
- Resilience and agility to solve difficult problems, meet deadlines and achieve results.
