Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Manager/ Sommelier to join our team at The Grove. You will be responsible for overseeing the overall operations of the restaurant, providing exceptional service, and curating a world-class wine selection.

Responsibilities:

Wine Selection and Service: Showcase your expertise by curating an exceptional wine list, with a strong emphasis on French wines, and ensuring impeccable service standards.

Customer Experience: Deliver outstanding customer service by engaging with patrons, managing reservations, and ensuring a positive and memorable dining experience for every guest.

Team Leadership: Lead and motivate the restaurant team to deliver exceptional service, maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization, and maximize efficiency.

Inventory Management: Manage restaurant inventory, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste to ensure cost-effectiveness.

Compliance: Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations, liquor laws, and company policies to maintain a safe and legally compliant environment.

Qualifications:

Proven experience of 2 years as a Restaurant Manager or Sommelier in a high-end establishment with a focus on French wines. Extensive knowledge of French wines and wine service techniques. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent customer service and communication abilities. Familiarity with POS systems and inventory management software. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. Familiarity with the French language preferred.
