Sardine is our funky little cocktail bar in the Viaduct by White + Wong's, serving delicious Bespoke cocktails, craft beer with stunning Waterfront views.
 
A successful applicant must also have great customer service skills and service knowledge. We do not require a duty manager however favourable to applicants who do. We are happy to assist with the gaining of a duty managers licence for the right applicant.
 
It is vital you have previous hospitality experience, however training is provided.

The successful candidate will have these key requirements:

  • Experience in a busy restaurant/bar is essential and your pay rate will mirror your experience
  • Customer focused and motivated
  • Be well presented, enthusiastic and professional
  • Deliver a high standard of drink making and wine handling
  • Great energy and ability to engage with your customers
  • Must be able to work late nights and weekends
  • The ability to work calmly when under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills
  • ‘Can-Do’ attitude, ready to face a busy service head on
  • Be ready to be part of a high quality, high volume, and fast paced operation
  • Full working rights in NZ is essential
