Do you want to be part of an energetic team, dedicated to giving our customers an exceptional and tailored shopping experience?
Our liquor department is face paced and busy and we need are looking to expand our team with a fulltime assistant.
We are looking for a person with great people skills, who works well with others and can exceed our customers’ expectations when delivering customer service.
The successful applicant will ideally:
- Have experience in liquor sales
- Be knowledgable about beer and wine
- Have excellent command of written and spoken English
- Be physically fit and able
- Be passionate, motivated and a team player!
The successful applicant will need to be a New Zealand citizen, or resident, or be in possession of a valid work permit.
The role will include stocking, serving customers, cleaning, stock taking, maintaining price integrity and contributing to the team spirit.

We have a discerning customer base. They want quality, variety and value and there is a demand for premium products and knowledgeable service.
Our Store
The store is four years old and is well equipped and maintained. Kumeu provides the best of both worlds; easy access to the city, yet on the doorstep to beaches and bush.
The working week will be Tuesday to Saturday or Sunday to Thursday.
Hours and days are Tuesday to Saturday 11 - 8pm: 42.5 hours per week
