The Culpeper is seeking a qualified 2IC/Bar Manager to join our team.
The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic and be responsible for: managing staff, ordering, designing cocktail/beverage menus, managing stock levels, managing supplier relationships, taking orders, making drinks, delivering beverages, entertaining customers, ensuring areas are clean and tidy, maintaining stock levels and restaurant set up. And much much more. As you can tell you've got to be great at prioritising and multi-tasking.
The successful candidate must have:
- Current LCQ and Manager's Certificate
- Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role
- Sound knowledge of all things beverage, including wine, beer, spirits, cocktails and understanding flavour
- Great energy and ability to engage with your customers, along with the ability to read and exceed customer expectations
- Stock management experience
- Confident and able to take responsibility and accountability
- Ability to manage your team and work with the Restaurant Manager to motivate and educate staff, lead by example and build a great team culture
- Experience in computing (Microsoft office in particular)
- A positive, punctual and professional approach
- Excellent attention to details
- Ability to juggle ten things at once
- Immaculate personal grooming and presentation
- A positive attitude, enthusiastic personality and winning smile!
- Relevant Hospitality Management diploma or equivalent qualification
