EuroVintage is proud of its record and reputation as a successful and dedicated, independently owned distributor of premium Wines, Spirits, Liqueurs and Mixers from New Zealand and overseas.
Due to growth within the business a new role has arisen for an enthusiastic, self-motivated Category Manager to join our Marketing Team.
As a key member of this team your responsibilities will be focused on the Brand Management of some world-renowned Spirits, Liqueur and Mixer Brands within the Portfolio
Based in Auckland, joining our Marketing Team, you’ll become the category expert for our Spirits, Liqueur and Mixer portfolio.
A unique opportunity, you’ll take responsibility for delivering the strategic direction on how and where to drive growth within the Brand Categories across a 3-year horizon and with this understanding ensure drivers are well supported with annual brand plans and levers to deliver sustainable success.
We’re seeking an individual with demonstrated category / brand experience and a true passion for working within a team to deliver successful growth plans.
Things we’re looking for from you to succeed in this role include:
- Prior success in category or brand management roles ideally within FMCG or the Spirits Industry
- An analytical mind and demonstrated ability to utilise data to leverage growth opportunities
- Excellent communication skills enabling you to communicate with a broad group of Brand Principals
- Have a strong team approach combined with the ability to self-manage and use initiative
- Possess strong time management & organisational skills
- Have strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrate a strong passion for and knowledge of Spirits and Liqueurs
- Developing category reviews and providing category insights that will deliver core business growth
- Working cross functionally with our broader marketing and sales teams to develop tools / levers that enable category growth
