We are looking for an experienced beverage professional to be a member of our new liquor store operation.
This is a diverse full-time role that really needs someone with the motivation to make it their own. You might call yourself an expert in all things craft beer, spirits, and wine, and will likely have previous experience working as a manager in a retail or hospitality environment. You will be extremely customer focused as you understand this is essential for success.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day management and operation of the store; you will drive sales, manage inventory and all aspects of stock control, marketing, and establishing supplier relationships and product mix.
What are we looking for?
- Management experience which includes a valid General Manager’s Certificate (Alcohol).
- Previous retail or hospitality service experience.
- Strong skills in influencing and motivating others.
- Excellent communication, problem solving and conflict management skills.
- The ability to travel is a requirement of this role, as is a valid driver's licence.
- Ordering or liaising with supplier pricing of the products.
- Entering Invoices and other adjustments into the P.O.S system.
- Maintain store facility equipment.
