Tantalus Estate is accepting expressions of interest for the role of Cellar Door Manager, winner of 2018 Best Destination Venue for NZ. This is the first time that this role has been advertised.
The successful candidate will have comprehensive wine knowledge, previous experience in a similar role, a great track record for sales and promoting positive workplace culture, and, of course, be a hospitality professional.
Duties for this hospitality-based role will include managing and recruiting for the tasting room, creating sales initiatives and incentives, processing on-premise sales, plan wine training and assist with restaurant pairings, oversee systems for wine club/membership subscriptions, and maintain a positive, energetic attitude.
Duty Manager's certification required, strong computer/POS skills necessary.
